Frequently Asked Questions
Do all races Count?
All Triathlons in the series generate points for the participants. We will only use the top 5 scoring triathlons to calculate the participants overall place
Can I compete in both Triathlon and Swim Series
Yes, we will be using the times from all triathlon, aquabike, and swim only to populate the Swim Series participant scores. You do not need to sign up for the swim series to participate in it.
Do I have to Sign Up for the Iowa Triathlon Championship Series?
No, your participation in to any of the Iowa Triathlon Series races automatically enters you in to the Series
Are there awards for the Series?
Yes, there are awards for the top 3 men and women in each age group.
Does placing overall impact the point total
No, points are only based upon the age group placings. We will not pull out overall winners when scoring age groups.
